Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will be showing a free movie this week to kick off the college’s newest Architecture Student Club.
The film, a documentary called My Architect, will be available for viewing on Friday, February 20th at DACC’s East Mesa Campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., inside the auditorium from 5 to 7 p.m. This film is the first of several events this semester by The Coalition of Community College Architecture Students.
My Architect is a 2003 film directed by Nathaniel Kahn, following his journey to understand his father who was legendary architect Louis Kahn. Kahn’s works include the Salk Institute and the Parliament in Bangladesh. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary.
