Providing essential resources to businesses in Southern New Mexico
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The New Mexico Minority Business Development Agency (NM MBDA) celebrated the opening of a new Business Center in Las Cruces with a community open house. The center was made possible through a $200,000 Congressional allocation, sponsored by Senators Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Luján.
The new NM MBDA Business Center aims to empower minority-owned businesses with a variety of free resources, including one-on-one consulting services, educational business development webinars, assistance in securing loans, and support in accessing procurement and bid opportunities.
The Las Cruces Business Center will work in partnership with existing organizations to enhance its offerings. Business Advisor Candle Baca will collaborate with local entities, such as Arrowhead Center, to expand the network of available resources and provide comprehensive support to business owners in need.
“We can play a pivotal role in bridging service disparities and extending our support to an even broader reach of business owners,” said Candle Baca, Business Advisor for the Las Cruces Center.
“We are committed to helping business owners thrive throughout New Mexico,” said Gabriela Marques, Director of the NM MBDA Business Centers. “Our goal is to ensure business owners have access to the resources they need to grow and succeed.”
The NM MBDA Business Centers provide services to businesses of all sizes. The Las Cruces center is located at 277 E Amador Ave, Suite 275, and is now accepting clients.
