DACC EMPLOYEE HONORED WITH NMSU AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE

A Doña Ana Community College (DACC) staff member is the 2024 recipient of a prestigious award from New Mexico State University (NMSU).

Dental Hygiene Clinical Lab Manager and Dental Assistant Frances Gutierrez-Olona is the recipient of the NMSU Stephen W. and Robert E. Roberts Memorial Staff Award. This award is given to one employee of the NMSU system who exemplifies dedicated, outstanding service to the university. Gutierrez-Olona was awarded on Friday, November 22nd, at the Corbett Center Student Union on the NMSU campus. She also received a cash award as part of the award.

Gutierrez-Olona has been working with DACC since 2010 where she began as a part-time employee. This award designates employees who are highly motivated, those who will continue to serve the university with sincerity, motivation and dedication and an employee who has served not only the university but also serves the community.
