Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will be showing free movies for Hispanic Heritage Month.
The movies will be shown this week at these campuses/centers:
- Encanto, October 8th at 1 p.m. inside the Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina St. inside Alex Sanchez Hall
- Stand and Deliver, October 9th at 1 p.m. at the Gadsden Center, 1700 E. O’Hara Rd. In Anthony, NM.
According to the hispanicheritagemonth.gov website, the month is celebrated every year September 15th to October 15th and celebrates the history, culture and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central/South America.
