Free Event to Feature Live Music, Dance Competitions, Food Trucks, and More

El Paso, TX – The El Paso Downtown Management District, in collaboration with GCC Sun City Materials, is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Downtown Fiesta Latina on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the intersection of Texas and Mesa Streets in Downtown El Paso. This vibrant, family-friendly event is free to the public and promises a day full of live Latin music, dancing, delicious food, and exciting competitions.
The El Paso Downtown Management District invites the community to immerse themselves in a lively celebration of Latin culture in the heart of El Paso. Attendees can dance to the energetic beats of Team Havana, Sonora Skandalo, and DJ Johnny Kage, with rhythms to keep the crowd moving all day long.
Event Highlights:
  • Live Performances: Enjoy live music by Team Havana, Sonora Skandalo, and DJ Johnny Kage, performing the best of salsa, cumbia, and Latin beats.
  • Food Trucks & Vendors: Indulge in mouthwatering offerings from six food trucks, including Los Compadres and Los Cabos Sea Food, and explore unique products from vendors like Event Linens & More, Nana’s Handmade, and Ooh Lala.
  • Dance Competitions & Performances: Witness a dazzling Professional Salsa Dance Show by the El Paso Ballroom Dance Academy and join the fun with the Latino Dance Competition (registered participants) and a Cumbia Dance Competition open to the public.
