Doña Ana Community College (DACC) has a new registration system for students, faculty, and staff to make it easier when using the college’s free food pantry.
The system for the college’s Comfort Casita was created in order to improve efficiency and make it easier for patrons to check out when utilizing the pantry. The Comfort Casita main pantry is located inside the Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina St. There are also micro casitas located at the East Mesa campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., Sunland Park Center, 3364 McNutt Rd., Chaparral Center, 755 Prescott Anthony Dr. and Gadsden center, E. O’Hara Rd.
To register for use of the pantry, go to this link and create an account to complete registration. Eligible students and staff may use the pantry once a week and will need their Aggie ID along with a reusable bag.
The Comfort Casita and its micro casitas provide free supplementary food to DACC students, faculty, and staff. The purpose of the pantries is to lessen the burden of growing economic challenges.
