Calling all pickleball enthusiasts! Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is holding a pickleball tournament to assist its food pantry.
Registration is now open for several experience levels for the round robin tournament to be held on Saturday, March 8th at the East Mesa Sports Complex, 4582 Sonoma Springs Avenue. The registration fee is $40 each and includes snacks, refreshments and medals if placed. Registration can be found at this link.
Experience levels and times are advanced teams at 9 a.m., intermediate teams at 11:30 a.m. and beginner players at 2 p.m. Tournament fees will support the DACC’s food pantry, Comfort Casita. The food pantry’s main location is at DACC Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina Street inside Alex Sanchez Hall. Comfort Casita provides free supplementary food assistance to DACC students, staff and faculty. The intention is to lessen the burden of growing economic challenges.
