MESILLA — Families are invited to head to Mesilla for a fun-filled Cinco de Mayo weekend featuring activities, live entertainment, and cultural experiences for all ages.
The celebration will take place Saturday and Sunday in the Town of Mesilla, where organizers have planned a variety of activities scheduled throughout each day for children and families. A foam party is planned from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day, while traditional piñata and greased pole activities will begin at 5 p.m. A bounce house will be available for children ages 10 and under, and adobe making activities will be offered during most of the day.
Visitors can also enjoy live ballet folklórico and mariachi performances while exploring a variety of food trucks and vendors offering food and merchandise. Organizers encourage residents and visitors to spend the weekend in Mesilla and experience entertainment, culture, and family-friendly fun as part of the Cinco de Mayo celebration.
