LAS CRUCES – The City of Las Cruces announced plans to rehabilitate the Upper Griggs Water Tank located at the intersection of Triviz Drive and Griggs Avenue, with work expected to continue through December 2026.
Las Cruces Utilities will host a public meeting to provide details about the rehabilitation process and timeline. The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, in the Roadrunner Room at Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Avenue.
City officials said the rehabilitation project will include cleaning, repairing, and repainting both the interior and exterior of the water tank to ensure it continues operating efficiently and safely for the community.
