LAS CRUCES – Doña Ana Community College received two Medallion Awards from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations during the organization’s District 4 regional conference in Oklahoma City last week.

DACC received a gold award for its Apple Distinguished School promotional video. The video highlights the college’s use of Apple technology to support teaching and learning and was included in its application for the designation, which the college recently received.

The college also received a bronze award for Vox, its student magazine. The publication features student-authored stories and creative writing, with students contributing to its visual design, layout and imagery.

The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize marketing and communications work at community and technical colleges across the country.
