Doña Ana County Names Lucio Luttrell as Deputy County Manager After Interim Service

LAS CRUCES – Doña Ana County officials have formally appointed Lucio Luttrell as Deputy County Manager following several months of service in the interim role.

County leaders announced that Luttrell has been serving as interim deputy county manager since October 2025 and has now been selected to permanently fill the position. Officials say the appointment reflects his experience, leadership, and commitment to county operations.

Luttrell has been a member of the Doña Ana County team since 2015 and brings more than a decade of experience in public finance and administration. In his new role, he will continue overseeing key departments and working closely with the County Manager to strengthen services and advance county priorities.

County officials expressed appreciation for Luttrell’s dedication and professionalism during his interim tenure and said his continued leadership will help support efficient operations and responsive public service throughout the county.
