LAS CRUCES – Doña Ana County Utilities customers will soon begin using a new online payment system designed to provide a more secure and convenient way to pay utility bills and manage their accounts. County officials announced the transition to the new Forte payment platform will take effect Saturday, Aug. 1.
The new system will replace the County’s current InvoiceCloud payment portal. While the “Pay Utility Bill” button on the County’s website will remain the same, customers will automatically be directed to the new payment system beginning Aug. 1.
Customers who currently use recurring automatic payments should be aware that existing AutoPay enrollments will not transfer to the new system. County officials say customers must cancel their current recurring payment enrollment before Aug. 1. Those wishing to continue using AutoPay will need to create a new online account and enroll again after the new system becomes available.
Instructions for setting up a new online account will be included with customers’ next utility bill. Once registered, customers will be able to pay bills online, enroll in AutoPay, view payment history, manage their utility account, and access other online services through the new platform.
Customers with questions about the transition may contact Doña Ana County Utilities at (575) 647-7142 or visit the County Utilities webpage for additional information.
