LAS CRUCES – Free fresh fruits and vegetables are available to the public this summer through Brighter Bites’ summer produce distributions at three Las Cruces Public Schools sites.
The upcoming distributions will be held at Booker T. Washington Elementary on Tuesdays, June 9th, 16th and 23rd; Lynn Middle School on Wednesdays, June 10th, 17th and 24th; and Sunrise Elementary on Thursdays, June 11th, 18th and 25th.
Distribution time at all three locations is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Produce will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Volunteers are also welcome to help bag produce before the distributions. Volunteer hours are from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
LCPS thanked Brighter Bites for helping provide healthy and nutritious food options for LCPS families and the community.
