LAS CRUCES – The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will soon begin registration for its 6-on-6 Co-Ed Teen Sand Volleyball Tournament, scheduled for the evening of July 17, 2026, at Meerscheidt Recreation Center.

The tournament is open to teens ages 13 to 17 of all skill levels. Participants must register as part of a pre-formed team. Teams must have at least six players and may include up to ten players. Players are not allowed to appear on more than one team roster.

In-person registration will be available from 9 a.m. June 22 through 5 p.m. July 2, or until the tournament reaches capacity. Registration will take place at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, located at 1600 E. Hadley Avenue in Las Cruces.

The cost is $25 per participant. Proof of age or a current Parks and Recreation annual waiver is required at the time of registration. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the registration process.

Team representatives must submit a team roster before individual players can register. Space is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
