Doña Ana Community College (DACC) Nursing Professor Andrea Cathey is being recognized for her volunteer work helping expecting moms.
Cathey has been volunteering and providing her expertise for years at High Desert Women’s Center. Cathey was recognized as the center’s Sunday Spotlight for her impact and advocacy for women and families in our community. Through her work as a registered nurse, lactation consultant, DACC professor, and member of the Medical Advisory Board, Andrea has provided compassion, education, and support to countless mothers navigating pregnancy, postpartum care, and parenthood. Her commitment to service, mentorship, and improving the lives of others continues to make a lasting impact throughout our community.
