LAS CRUCES – Registration for summer swim lessons through the City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center.
The summer swim lesson program will run from June 1 through July 17 at East Mesa Pool and Laabs Pool. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, with eight classes offered during each session.
Three sessions will be offered. Session 1 will run June 1 through June 11, Session 2 will run June 15 through June 25, and Session 3 will run July 6 through July 16.
Level 1 and Level 2 swim lessons will be offered from 3:30 to 4 p.m. and from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. Mommy & Me classes will be held from 6:15 to 7 p.m.
The cost is $45 per participant for each session. The fee applies to Mommy & Me, Level 1 and Level 2 classes.
Participants registering for Level 2 must provide either a Red Cross completion card or proof of successful completion of Level 1 swim lessons. Participants without proof of Level 1 completion will not be eligible to register for Level 2.
Class space is limited, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
