Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will hold two celebrations to honor graduates who received their high school equivalency diplomas.
Students who obtained their General Education Development (GED) and High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) will be recognized on Tuesday, June 2nd at the DACC Sunland Park Campus auditorium, 3365 McNutt Road in Sunland Park from 5:30-7 p.m. A second ceremony will be in Las Cruces on Thursday, June 4th at the DACC East Mesa Campus auditorium, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., from 5:30-7 p.m. The GED test covers four subjects in math, science, social studies and reasoning through language arts. The HiSET covers five subjects from language arts (writing), mathematics, science, social studies and language arts (reading). DACC is an official testing center and offers classes to prepare students for these exams.
There is no cost to complete a high school equivalency exam. You must be 16 years or older to attend classes.
