LAS CRUCES – The City of Las Cruces has selected Josie Treviño as its new Assistant Director of Finance.
Treviño brings more than 17 years of accounting experience to the position, including 14 years in governmental accounting.
She has worked for the City of Las Cruces since 2012, serving in several municipal finance roles, including Accounting Technician, Accountant, Financial Reporting Analyst, Budget Analyst, Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager and most recently, Comptroller.
City officials said Treviño is committed to serving the community with integrity, accountability and dedication to public service.
Treviño is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and supporting community activities, including local softball.
