Las Cruces High School Students Invited to Apply for 2027 Branigan Art Show

LAS CRUCES – High school juniors and seniors in Las Cruces can now apply to have their artwork featured in the 2027 Annual All-City High School Art Show at the Branigan Cultural Center.

The juried exhibition will be on display from March 5 through May 8, 2027. Selected students will have their work exhibited in the museum for two months and will be eligible for Best in Show, First Place and Second Place awards with cash prizes in four categories.

Applications are open to juniors and seniors enrolled in Las Cruces public, private or charter high schools, as well as homeschooled students who live in Las Cruces. Students do not need to be enrolled in an art class to apply.

Each student may submit up to five original works in any medium, including painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, digital art and mixed media. Artwork must have been created while the student was in high school and may not infringe on copyrights or include AI-generated components.

Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m. MDT on Jan. 22, 2027. A parent, guardian or teacher certification is required, and incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

The application is available at SurveyMonkey.com/r/LCMS-HSAS or through LasCruces.gov/HSAS. The Branigan Cultural Center is located at 501 N. Main St. in Las Cruces.
