LAS CRUCES – Doña Ana County is inviting Chaparral residents to participate in a virtual public meeting to learn more about the proposed McCombs Road and Amparo Road Multi-Use Trail Project.

The online meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. MDT on Thursday, July 30, using Zoom.

During the meeting, County staff and project consultants will present the proposed design for new multi-use trail segments along McCombs Road and Amparo Road, planned improvements to the existing trail network, and the Lisa Drive beautification project.

Officials will also explain how community feedback has influenced the proposed designs and will provide attendees with an opportunity to ask questions.

The project is intended to improve connectivity, safety, and accessibility for pedestrians, bicyclists, and other trail users throughout the Chaparral community.
