LAS CRUCES – The City of Las Cruces Public Libraries is inviting students who participated in a school science fair during the 2025–2026 school year to showcase their projects during Science Fair Summer at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library.
Students may submit their science fair posters for display through June 21. The posters will be exhibited at the library from June 22 through June 27, giving the public an opportunity to view and celebrate the creativity, innovation and hard work of local students.
Science Fair Summer will also feature several family-friendly activities throughout the week.
From 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, visitors can participate in hands-on science activities, including baking soda volcanoes and other classic science demonstrations.
Activities will continue on June 26 with an opportunity to meet local scientists from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to learn about a variety of scientific fields and career opportunities directly from professionals working in those areas.
Beginning at 2 p.m. that same day, the library will host an Experiment 626 Day celebration, featuring a movie screening and themed craft activities.
All events will take place at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, located at 200 East Picacho Avenue in Las Cruces.
The program is designed to encourage scientific curiosity while highlighting the achievements of area students and connecting young people with local science professionals.
