LAS CRUCES — The City of Las Cruces has updated its public meeting schedule for the City Strategic Plan Update after receiving community feedback requesting additional meeting times.

Residents are invited to attend public input meetings or complete an online Community Needs Survey as the City gathers priorities, perspectives and ideas to help guide future programs, investments and city services over the coming years.

The public engagement phase follows the release of the City’s Landscape Analysis and Needs Assessment, which reviewed current conditions, leadership perspectives and the economic and community factors shaping Las Cruces’ future.

City officials said the revised schedule gives residents more opportunities to attend meetings in their council districts after regular work hours. Residents may attend any of the meetings, and refreshments will be available.

Upcoming meetings include:

  • July 30, 6 to 7:30 p.m. — Sage Café, East Mesa location
  • August 1, 9 to 11 a.m. — Farmers Market, in front of the Rio Grande Theatre
  • August 3, 6 to 7:30 p.m. — Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, Roadrunner Room
  • August 4, 6 to 7:30 p.m. — Lynn Middle School Community School
  • August 5, 6 to 7:30 p.m. — Frank O’Brien Papen Center Auditorium
  • August 6, 6 to 7:30 p.m. — WIA Building
